Signature process at the time of cylinder deliveries

Dear Customers,

As the COVID-19 situation across Canada evolves daily, we are taking measures to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. In line with ministerial directives across all provinces to eliminate and reduce vectors of COVID-19 transmission, and in response to concerns around our signature process communicated to us by many of the hospitals we supply as well as our own employees, effective immediately , our drivers will no longer request a customer signature on the paper delivery note upon completing deliveries of cylinders. Instead, the following process will be implemented:

  • Our driver will ask whether the receiver (customer) wishes to review the delivery note details;
  • Our driver will ask for the first name of the receiver (customer) and will write it down directly on the delivery note along with the time and his initials; and
  • Our driver will show the delivery note to the customer and ask for verbal confirmation of the name.

We acknowledge that several hospitals have implemented processes requiring a signature as proof of delivery in order to pay their invoices. However, we ask that each of our customers cooperate with us on this new process, which is designed to ensure everyone’s safety through increased distancing, and which has recently been adopted across the transportation industry.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us as soon as possible at the following email address: CA-BCP-INFO@AIRLIQUIDE.COM or call us at 1 888 629-0202.

We appreciate and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
